Serenity Stranded
The Story:
Serenity has been stranded at the edge of the ‘verse, and it is up to the crew to figure out why! Is it sabotage? Has Kaylie’s ingenuity failed? Is someone out to get them? And, wait, what’s Saffron doing there??
The Universe:
The story takes place in the firefly universe.
The Characters:
Malcolm Reynolds is the captain of Serenity, and no job is too big, too small, or too illegal, as long as it keeps his crew together and his ship flying.
Zoe Alleyne is Mal’s first mate, a true warrior woman with a dry sense of humor.
Hoban ‘Wash’ Washburne, Serenity’s pilot, is a laid-back guy with an active sense of humor. Wash just wants a ship to fly and his wife Zoe alive and at his side.
Kaylee Frye, Serenity’s mechanic, a tomboy who accepts anything the universe throws at her with a smile and a bounce.
Jayne Cobb, a mercenary who provides muscle - but no smarts - to the crew of Serenity.
Shepherd Book is a preacher with a mysterious past who has booked passage on Serenity, and is along for the ride until he decides he’s found his destination.
Simon Tam serves as Serenity’s doctor. He’s on the run from the Alliance after breaking his sister out of the Academy.
River Tam is Simon’s little sister. She was once a gifted child, but after being experimented on at the Academy, she is an erratic creature who alternates between flashes of brilliance and wild tantrums.
Inara Serra is the only legitimate business person on board Serenity. As a registered Companion, she opens ports that otherwise might be closed to Serenity.
Saffron (a.k.a. Yolanda, a.k.a. Bridget) is nothing but trouble. A trained Companion, she uses her skills to con people - including those that she has conned before …
